About

About me

Creativity is my passion. That's why I love working on interesting and diverse projects, big or small. From your start up company logo and business card, to brochures, flyers, books and magazines, illustration, styling photoshoots, blog content and websites. My aim is to give you the highest standard design aesthetic to help you stand out from the crowd.

With years of experience working in many different mediums, I love to work on meaningful projects that challenge the artist within, but without the diva attitude.

So if you want great design and service, with a creative twist you've come to the right place.

RECENT PROJECTS
Social media campaigns

Working with the Monash University department of education I have been creating social media posts to illustrate and highlight some of their recent research findings. Other campaigns cover special days, challenges and activities. Using their colour palette and some fun, graphic elements and illustration means the posts will have more impact and a wider engagement.

These campaigns need to work across several platforms including facebook, instagram (feeds and stories) and X to help spread the message in an engaging and informative way, boosting your audience.

Tiffany Morris North artist - website design

Tiffany and I have been friends for many years and after a recent exhibition, I suggested she needed a website revamp. So we spent a day together looking through her extensive body of work to create a new look that matched her dreamy work and would show off her many talents to a new audience.

Wedding magazine - art director and illustrator

So lucky to have been trusted with this beautiful project at The Australian Jewish News. As art director and designer I was also able to add some of my illustration for the perfumes page. I love the stock we've used that gave the magazine a lovely earthy look and feel.

I always look forward to working on the Wedding magazine with the production team at the AJN, it's definitely my favourite design job of the year.

Feature page design

The feature page of a newspaper or magazine is an opportunity to add great design to a serious topic, making it more engaging for the reader. In a feature page there's room for interpretation of the article through illustration, photography, or creative use of typography. Some articles are more light-hearted and allow for a more playful approach. Here are some of my favourite feature page designs I've been working on for the AJN and Property Weekly.

Property Weekly - magazine redesign

When Property Weekly needed a redesign because it was going glossy and changing to a new smaller format. I was excited to be able to work on the look and feel for this property magazine. The new look is clean and structural giving the properties a chance to shine.

Print Supplements

There are many supplements that go into a print publication to enhance the weekly news, these topical mini magazines call for a more creative design approach.

From education to Senior's festivals and health related supplement magazines, this format allows for punchy colour and design elements to make the page draw you in for a closer read.
